The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Central Executive Board (DPP) of ASWIN, Aceng Syamsul Hadie, S.Sos., M.M, extends his heartfelt congratulations on the commemoration of National Press Day 2026.

On this meaningful occasion, Aceng Syamsul Hadie emphasized the importance of safeguarding the freedom of the legitimate press as a fundamental pillar of democracy.

According to him, the Indonesian press is expected to be capable of responding to the challenges of the times through journalistic works that are inspiring, educational, and solution-oriented for the nation.

He further highlighted the vital role of the press as a space for the diversity of opinions, an effective bridge of communication, and a catalyst for strengthening unity amid the rich diversity of the Indonesian people.

Aceng Syamsul Hadie also expressed his hope that the media industry in Indonesia will grow financially stronger, while remaining editorially independent, in order to consistently deliver high-quality journalism to the public.
